The hurricane has been a lot lighter than we were expecting. winds down to 30-40 miles per hour and about 1 inch of rain, however the bands will be circling us for the next 2-3 days . still got power, which is a surprise. I am in north Louisiana, on the banks of the sabine river on the texas border. It look like Jindal did a good job of evacuating people out of south louisiana.
