hottest day of the whole year today.about 107%. Had a bad day today thinks to friends sticking it to me.Was at a meeting at the VFW ,8 hours then turns out not the meeting I am supposed to be at to get certified to be a service officer so I can help brother vets with their claims.Turns out not right class and the post commander (my friend) made a mistake and I didn`t need to be there but I still have toatend another one for service officer training.SHIT. Then to top it off, I was there on time and he and the other guy from out post were both late.So I am taking notes collecting nandouits etc.Asking questions, getting involved generally, and at the end he takes my papers and notes and says its foir commanders only I am not supposed to have tha info.I `m staring at him and said `WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING HERE`?And he says so maybe some day I can be the next post commander and besides I learned lots of info didn`t I ? I walked out really pissed. still hot about it tonite.
