I`m sorry but I don`t have any photos of them. Each of them died while trying save others. I believe Evans and McConnell were both awarded the Silver Star, Not sure about Patrick, but know he was killied while treating Sgt Benjaman for wounds. An yes I was a medic with 1st Plt. D co. 1/501st. We had all come from Ft Cambell together when the Div. was deployed in Dec 67. There deaths occurred during the Tet offensive in Feb, March of 68. I continued with 1st Plt. until being promoted in July 68 to senior medic D co. and returned to the states in Dec, 68. I pulled 2 more tours in Vietnam with 5th Special Forces and the 75th Rangers finally returning in 1971. After Vietnam spent time in Special Forces and as ranger cadre at patrol faze at Ft Benning. Got involved in the boot strap program went through college then OCS an was commisioned in 1980 as a infantry Lt. pulled various assignments in SF,rangers, 2nd ID, until retiring after Gulf 1 in 92. Finally stopped working last year, I`m enjoying retirement here in Fl. My wife and I have talked about visting Vietnam maybe in the near future.
