Does anyone but me rrmember us firing up 3 gooks on May the 16th. We all on the on the ground in an old paddy with dikes. We were moving SW toward a hill and tree line. We were not in formation, just scattered out and sombody spotted 3 VC heading toward. Capt Gibson was screaming `fire`m up` a short pause and everybody in front shot the woods down. We moved up and found a bloody pack with a hammock made from a US Mail bag. I remember the fire, smoke and the heat. I should of passed out and went with Hardman. This happened a short time after we CA`d. Somebody help me out, Peace, Cotton.
