I ended up with 2 sets of PH orders, 1 from the Americal and 1 from the 101st. Doc Nowlin was on the latter. I wrote Freddie Mac and he wrote back acknowledging that he got hit, didn`t know for a while that he had died from wound. Sure busted me too, I know it took a lot of heart from Charlie Company and 3 rd plt. I kept up with you guys thru Perk, Freddie Mac and Bernie. Not much slack for you guys for a while, Peace, Cotton.
