We had the best fighting position on Ghost Mtv. Kinda down on the side of the hill was a giant rock sticing up lake a half moon 3-4` high and about 8`wide. Left side had a blownoff tree stump about 4` tall. My position was the left side between the rock and the stump. Below our position was pretty steep and you didn`t have to toss a fragg too hard. Your 60 was to the right of the rock behind a log pointing down the mtn. Do you remember Parker firing your sixty a short burst? A dead giveaway for the 60 position. Didn`t you gun take a couple rounds? Maybe I`m dreaming? Bi-pod shot off maybe. Joe Lenhr was toe other dude in our hole behind the rock. I dug me a sleeping hole above the firing position and had a C-rat box fullof dirt for my over head. We took a couple mortar rounds and Mike Peterson took my hole and box. I think Lenhr tried to get in there with him. It was me and yo in the hole throwing frags. I never fired a round but my throwing arm was sore. If I ever go to Nam Iam going there. I have googled earth found Ghost Mtn and the hill on the 21st. Right damn spooky, Peace, Cotton.
