I remember not having to wake up this AM 42 years ago. We just did an all nighter with Mr. Charles. Capt. Gibson saying we need a stand down, but that wasn`t going to happen. I have quizzed the other Companies about where they were on the 19 th but no response. I know they had to be close. I know Spooky was on station for a long time lighting up our permiter. I will never the feeling I had when I herd those damn gongs. I thought this only happened in the movies. This was definitely a long week in May, Peace, Cotton.
