I have been assigned to work on a Silver Star Book of Valor for our Brigade.
The history of the 502nd IN REG weighs heavily on the patch and crest we wear. Since WWII the men and women of the 501st, 502nd and 2BCT have demonstrated unprecedented personal courage and sacrifice on behalf of the unit and this country. To honor our hero`s past and present; 2BCT is developing the first Silver Star Book of Valor.
Once complete, this book will be preserved at the Don F. Pratt Museum on Ft. Campbell as well as in the HQ of 2BCT. Copies will also be available to the Silver Star recipients and their family members. Please help us in completing this important historical book by submitting a copy of your Silver Star Citation (General Orders), Silver Star Certificate, and any relevant photos to be included in the Book of Valor. Thank you for the sacrifice and service that you and your family have given to this unit and our country.
