I had a life once. I stayed at a hotel in Trenton NJ and could see a large town at a good distance out my window. I had to play music that night but I had all day to fart around so I rented a car and drove to that city which was Philadelphia. I parked the car on a side street and went walking around looking for the Liberty Bell. The liberty in this city of brotherly love was so overwhelming I couldn`t find my rental car when I was done sight seeing. They towed it, way across town to some impound lot. I think the taxi and the fine cost me almost two hundred bucks, and I was worried I wouldn`t make it back to Trenton... but I did. After the show I got stopped (in the rain) for turning left. Seems left turns are illegal in Trenton. I told the cop I was having a rough day. I told him all about Philly and the towing fee and the ticket - and that now, in the rain, I couldn`t find the winshield wipers in my rental car. I think the rain made it look like I was crying. He let me go without a ticket. But he sat there parked behind me waiting for me to pull away. It was still raining and I still couldn`t find my winshield wipers. Not wanting to push my luck? I pulled away hoping he wouldn`t see that I had no wipers running. He didn`t notice. The hotel was only a block away. In fact that left turn I made was to get around a median in front of the hotel. I could have made a u-turn but I didn`t want to break any local laws. What a day, what a night, what a town. I`ll never go back to Philadelphia or Trenton again. Trenton is a no-brainer, not much to see, but Philadelphia owes me two hundred bucks, the way I figure.
