Hey Dave I’ve been out of the loop for awhile and sorry to hear about the hell you have been going through; glad to hear you are on the mend. Mac was here in Vegas and spent two days with Linda and I, while he was here we talked about the reunion and he said that when he got back home he would get more info out to us. We are going to arrive a day early and stay a day late like we normally do. One thing we found out when booking our room was that the phone number listed on the flier in the emails does not go to the hotel but to corporate booking in Calif. When Linda talked to the Rep (a young white female who spoke perfect English, what a concept) she said that there was no guarantee that we could get the same price for the extra nights but hold on and she would see if there was any promotional rates we could get. After the normal put ya on hold while they eat their doughnut thing, she came back and said the best price we could get was like $148 a night (which by the way is the full price). Linda told her WHOA I’ll ask my husband, the young lady came right back with wait let me check something. It wasn’t 30 seconds later she said I can get you the extra days for $84 bucks, and that is less than the Charlie co rate so don’t let them play games. The airline ticket prices are all over the board, I watched them for several days and ended up getting a good deal on Delta but be sure to check them all out. Hotwire and the others couldn’t give me any better prices than just going to the airlines web sites. Tim will be there also but maybe not Jana, seems they have a grandchild on the way too.
