Some of you may have noticed I haven’t posted in a while, since last August, actually. Anyway, I spent almost 6 months in the hospital with a very bad case of pancreatitis. Marla said I almost bought the farm in September. They took out my gall bladder and part of my pancreas that had necrotized. It was pretty touch & go for a while & I remember very little of the first 2 months. I’ve been home now for 2 weeks and am doing a lot better. Marla has been an angel through this whole ordeal, she really saved my life.
I am going to make it to the reunion this year and am really looking forward to seeing you guys. Dan, you can have my usual allotment of Miller Lite as a Shirley Temple is about all I can handle these days. See you guys in Wisconsin.
