As for 87 vs 187 we weren`t on either. Ghost Mtn was the name of the Hill we were on the 18th and 19th and so named by Charlie Co. Not sure any of any the BT`s are correct Bat. or otherwise. I have studied the BT`s , Google Maps, Military and Sully Maps. I feel confortable that I know the positions of the 18th and 21st. It was also stated that we were on Hill 270 on the 21st, wrong again. I will give my rendetion of where we were at LZ Pineola and we will do the math. LT not to worry about which hill and what # it was. We were there and we shared Rudys` care package. Great story, brought some vivid memories, I cried for a while. Elmer ordered me to help load the bodies and I refused. Some other guys got the bodies and I helped load Coats on the same chopper. We never had body bags, only paunchos and the blew off on the way to the chopper, not a pretty sight. I remember Doc Nowlin sitting crossing his arms on his knees and weeping. One of those images that never goes away. No matter what number it was, just ask anybody in Charlie Company and he will tell you it was Ghost Mtn, Peace, Cotton
